Now if they would expand their 36v line that runs on two 18v batteries that could be interesting, the only thing they’ve made that uses that is the miter saw, which is a nice piece of equipment but the only thing holding me back from buying it is its not hybrid, like you could also plug it in if your home, but could use batteries on a job site. As part of the RYOBI 40V system, the tools are compatible with all 40V batteries. and (2) 40V Fast Chargers for 2X faster charging. Combining 40V Lithium Battery power with Brushless Technology this mower. I liked the price, of course, and the three year warranty sounded fantastic. RYOBI continues to lead the industry in cordless mower innovation with their 40V HP 20 in. I have a small yard so I chose a 16' One+ 18v mower. I was given 150 towards an electric mower at THD or Ace in exchange for recycling my old gas mower. One has a 100Ah battery while the other has a 75Ah battery. This is pretty off topic, but I just wanted to express my own concern about Ryobis warranty. The RYOBI 40V system is the most convenient way to transition from gas to cordless for all your lawn and garden needs. Two of the go-karts include 38-inch decks. One of the zero-turns has a 115Ah battery and a 54-inch deck, while the other two are 42-inchers with 100Ah and 75Ah respectively. I also got the first generation of the 40v platform so it may be better now or will be in the future but for now unless you have bare minimum yard work and not a ton of space I wouldn’t recommend them. Ryobi has an even wider range of riding mowers than Ego, with three zero-turns and three go-kart-esque riders. I’m talking ten minutes of cutting tops, I have more batteries that at least I could keep going even if it doesn’t last so long, plus they’re a lot cheaper than investing in more 40v batteries, on top of that my 40v charger failed and no longer will charge the battery so I’m left with a choice to either buy another charger and more batteries or abandon the platform and just get the 18v chainsaw for small projects and a gas powered for larger things. Kobalt 40V is a self-propelled lawnmower manufactured by Chervon for Lowe’s. On the flip side I’m very disappointed in my 40v chainsaw, the 18v version would do just as well for the applications i can use it for, it’s not going to cut or go the distance a gas powered will. My short answer, I love my 18v tools, every single one of them, I have 15 I count off the top of my head, with a decent list of more to buy. RYOBI continues to lead the industry in cordless mower innovation with their third generation 40V 20 -inch Brushless Push Mower.
